While it may not be an example of great workmanship, the bike is a bit too far from being junk to throw away. It's at least got cast or forged rear dropouts, and the dura ace parts are nice.

I'd put on a replacement fork and give the rest a good cleaning. Ride it a couple times, and decide if it was something I wanted to keep. I'd also keep the original fork. And if anyone wants a real challenge just try to do an actually correct restoration on something lower mid range like this. Parts can be pretty inexpensive, but very hard to find.

At the worst it will then be safe to ride and probably a decent starter or commuter bike for someone.

And if you find any of that awful dura -Ace stuff just send it my way. I'll pick up the shipping.:)
