Hi everyone,

Offered for sale to CR members are two very good/excellent Sturmey fixed gears an ASC and a 2-speed fixed as well as a very presentable pair of Chater pedals, a very good 1960s 1A stem and a ping bel.

I can take payment a number of ways - Paypal, cheque in GBP, cash sent registered post, Traveller\u2019s cheques in $, direct bank transfer within the UK or European Iban bank transfer.

With the pound being low in value these are a real bargain... for US and European buyers. All have pictures you can check out on Photobucket.

CHATER-LEA PEDALS in very good condition - the chrome on the barrels has a little corrosion and one corner part of one plate has been cut off - probably because it got bent, although it looks as if the plate is cracked around the rivet it actually isn\u2019t. These are a very presentable pair of what are rare pedals 49 GBPhttp://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Chater-Lea-pedals.jpg

CINELLI 1A stem Not anodized 11cm Cinelli engraving on top these are really rare and date I think from c1962-67 7mm expander bolt,12mm nut clamp fastening What looks like a scrape in the top picture is just a reflection. Exc 25 GBP http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Cinelli-1A-11cm-60s.jpg

PING BELL in very nice condition 8 GBP http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Ping-bell.jpg

STURMEY ARCHER 2-SPEED FIXED GEAR 1930s 40H The TF gear offers a second gear 25% below normal - I normally set these up with a normal gear of about 72in - you then get a low gear of just over 50in ideal for climbing those short sharp steep inclines. These are a wonderful light and simple gear with very little to go wrong and they are my favourite Sturmey gear of all time. They are in fact rather nicer to use than the fabled ASC 3-speed fixed as they have much less backlash built-in. This gear is in very nice condition - the bearing surfaces are all in very good condition with no pitting; the chrome plating is however a bit worn. It is supplied with an almost new sprocket. It comes complete with the correct top tube control (which normally goes for about 100 GBP by itself), cable and seat tube roller. 265 GBP

http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Sturmey-2spd-fixed.jpg STURMEY ARCHER ASC FIXED WHEEL HUB GEAR Offered for sale is an very good/excellent Sturmey Archer ASC 3-speed fixed wheel hub gear with 40 spoke holes complete with the Sturmey Archer nuts, quick release cable fittings, cable, seat tube rollar, top tube stop, ASC trigger (which is rarer than the hub) and sprocket. Although this hub does not come with wingnuts I do not normally recommend their use as it is very difficult to really get the wheel secure - standard wheel nuts used with anti-torque washers are far better. The ASC gear offers a bottom gear 25% below normal - I normally set these up with a normal gear of about 72in - you then get a low gear of just over 50in ideal for climbing those short sharp steep inclines and second gear is about half way between. I have fully serviced this hub. The shell is very good with only as few minor marks apart from some minor spoke marking on the flanges. The bearing surfaces in the right side ball cup are only lightly worn and innards show only signs of light use. I was one of the the very few recommended by Sturmey Archer in the 1980s to service their obsolete gears so I know what I am doing when servicing these gears. 265 GBP http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Sturmey-ASC.jpg
