I dunno - "Oui" featured a Cinelli Super Corsa (I recall it being silver with chromed lugs) built-up full Campy NR in their "Best Bicycle" photo-article (August 1975). I suppose it could have been borrowed, but then why not borrow a nicer bike for the August 1976 cover?
My thoughts: (a) the cover photographer didn't know any better or (b) was afraid that if a really nice bike was used people would look at the bike and not the model.

And what a lovely pair she's sporting too. I miss the natural, supple trend of yesteryear. The cleats of course ... (what were you thinking?)
She should have been on a Masi, but clearly Oui didn't have the budget Playboy enjoyed.
