Hi all,
a hare-brained aqaintance of mine recently sold me a DA AX stem in very good condition; all that he needed to do was take it off the bike it was on. I asked him if I should do it for him and pop a replacement stem on while I was at it, but he declined out of some grumpy odd reason. So I said `allright, I'll pick it up saturday´. That was OK and when I showed up yesterday the bike was gone and with it the stem. "Oh, I sold it yesterday" was the answer I got. Since this guy is not an evil character I had to conclude that he was simply an idiot; asked for my money back and decided not to have too much to do with him in the future.
So now I am stuck with a frame that is 90% built-up and actually just waiting for a D-A AX front brake and stem.
