Morgan, I'm with Jerry on this one. Keep mine and put it to some good use, and consider it a modest recognition for all the effort, time and expense you've put in over the years. No matter how it goes from here, your efforts have enabled me to learn about this hobby and view hundreds of interesting bikes from all over the world. I can't count the number of times I visited WJ to get an idea of how a vintage part should (or should not!) be mounted or to look at the original graphics on an obscure frame. It has been a great resource for me. Thanks.

"Morgan, so it sounds like the data recovery service has done a lot of work already. Are they not going to bill you at least part of that $2,500 even if you stop now? If so, I don't think most people would want their money back, even if you stop now, but are still stuck with a substantial bill. In fact, I'd send in a contribution to help with what you've already incurred, even if you don't proceed."
