I have a Pogliaghi with known provenance that I purchased from Ben K. I had it repainted and new decals made and applied. Why? because the original owner (not Ben K.) painted it a yellow to monkey vomit green fade. It now looks like a Pogliaghi should and not like a dogs breakfast. BTW, when I got the frame back from Southwest Frameworks, the paint, decals and frame itself were PRISTINE, did that make it original? Is my RIH which has all the components it wore when it rolled out of the Bustraans shop with the exception of tires and tape, its paint is faded, chipped, some of the decals are peeling and the gold lug lining is tired looking. The bike is far from pristine, is it original?
