As has been confirmed by the proprietor of Cicli Magni via list member George Hollenberg, there was no Magni house builder or factory ... Magni frames were made in Italy by LOSA, who also made some other big name bikes, most notably, earlier steel Guerciottis.

Hi everyone,
Offered up today five interesting frames. Frames cost 75 GBP to ship to
the USA. I can deliver any of these frames free of charge to Argos
Cycles here in Bristol - I rate Argos as being one of the best painters
in the UK. Their prices can be found at
http://www.argoscycles.com/
I can take payment a number of ways - Paypal, cheque in GBP, cash sent registered post, Traveller?s cheques in $, direct bank transfer within the UK or European Iban bank transfer. I will always combine shipping in order to reduce costs.
With the pound being low in value these are a real bargain... for US and European buyers.

CARLTON FLYER c1965

Top Tube (ctc): 57cm
Rear dropout width: 124mm

The Carlton Flyer was during the mid 1960s the top road frame available
from Carlton/Raleigh. This frame is beautifully built with the fancy
curly lugs with windows and Zeus long rear dropouts. The paint is in
generally sound condition but needs touching up in a number of places if
used as is. ?149

The Magni frame frame originates from near Milan, Italy - more details

PATELLI c1989
Seat Tube (ctc): 51cm
Top Tube (ctc): 53cm
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Brake drop with 700C wheels: 46mm
Tubing: Columbus SLX
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Patelli are one of the small but highly regarded Italian framebuilders.
This frame was obviously a custom built frame - it has mudguard eyes -
mudguards could be squeezed in with 23mm tyres I think as the clearances
are still fairly tight. The paint and chrome are excellent with just a
few marks to the paint. And like the best Italian frames the detailing
is truly superb - look at the lug cutouts, engraving to seatstays and
internal brake and gear cables. ?265

SOMEC c1991 New and Unused
Seat Tube (ctc): 50cm
Top Tube (ctc): 52cm
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Brake drop with 700C wheels: 46mm
Tubing: Columbus Cromor
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Somec are another one of the small but highly regarded Italian
framebuilders. This frame is new and unused with the paint and chrome in
virtually perfect condition. It is very nicely detailed like the other
two Italian frames I have in this listing - build quality is excellent.

BATES VEGRANDIS c1937
Seat Tube (ctt): 20in
Top Tube (ctc): 23.5in
Rear dropout width: 110mm
Brake drop with 700C wheels: 50mm
Tubing: Reynolds 531 Cantiflex tubing
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
This Bates Vegrandis frames dates from c1937. It has been repainted and
there are signs of light pitting under the paint in a number of places
but nothing which worry me from the structural point of view. It would
have been built for 26 x 1 1/4in wheels originally but there?s plenty of
space for 700/sprints. ?125
