On another note.

I’m well below novice as far as frame building. Frankly, I don’t know doodly, so excuse me if I don’t say this technically correct.

The seat stays appear to be inserted into the seat clamp, then welded?

I’ve seen this before on I believe Merciers.

Anybody have any insight for this type of work. Why would this be done this way other than it’s unique?
