Every few weeks, the local shop that redid my Andy Hamel runs a few pix
on DC Craigslist. I think the '62 Paramount came out right nicely, if
you like gloss. http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/
On the Hamel, at my request the paint was fairly thick, to cover a bit of the pitting, but powder can be quite think, too. Where there was "overspray" inside the BB, I had a devil of a time scraping down to get clearance, so adhesion seems to be good.
They gave me a very good price, and worked hard on the bike, but I have no other connection with the shop.
I consider my experience to be great value relative to traditional methods, but I'm sure that the best artisans can do better, as my Weigle shows.
