I have one of those.. Very interesting, it is "sprung" by a parallelogram mechanism, presumeably to protect it from shock on bumpy roads...
I think some of the parts maybe chronogically a bit mismatched (but not by much!) but generally this ius an older style bike with parts from late 30s rather than those most of you are familiar with. But whether a restored and rehabbed bike like this will fetch it's eBay starting price is a matter of conjecture...

The Resilion brakes are okay, but unlikely to have been used on such a machine in the late-40s? The lamp looks a bit peculiar, never seen one like that before! I like to see these "club" bikes with mudguards, but that is my own preference.? ?
