Sad to say there was nothing very distinctive about Mercier bikes. They made good ones that worked well but it's had to tell apart from so many other makes with similar pieces & parts.
Of course Raymond Poulidor did quite well on them, eternally NOT winning the TdF!

Its got a 26.0 seat post Pretty pink paint a 53cm C-to-C seat tube and has "5 3" stamped on the bottom bracket was purchased in the U.K. at an antique dealer
