So do we know who might have made the Louison Bobet bikes mass produced in the late 60's and mentioned in the original edition of Sloane's book? Did Bobet actually have any part in production or marketing, or did someone just license his name?

\r?\n> Lily Herse has claimed that her
\r?\n> father made Bobet's bikes, and several Herse owners have
\r?\n> told me the same thing.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> I'll second Jan Heine in the opinion that the bike
\r?\n> photographed in b/w in the photo posted by Aldo has a very
\r?\n> Hersish look about it, particularly the fork top and front
\r?\n> dropout.
