Hi,

the brand is Göricke and it is a bicycle manufacturer since 1874 in Bielefeld (Germany). The brand has been bought 1954 by Schminke (later Pantherwerke). Mr Schminke jr. is the leader of the company and maybe he has information from the archives. (Pantherwerke refers to the long tradition of the Göricke brand). There is a thread in the "altesrad.net"-forum concerning the serial numbers and a contact for further questions. http://www.altesrad.net/viewtopic.php?p$94&sidG9a346c92457654494b502cc82ca674
