Cheers, Dean

Dean:

There seems to be a rash of members (most newbies, I assume) who apparently are not reading or absorbing the content of the CR list rules when they join and are not signing off their CR messages using the required first and last name, city, state and country.

It has beens this forum's practice to automatically remove those person's from list membership, then agree to their readmission hoping that the "pain-in-the-ass" factor would reinforce their memory about basic rules and good manners. This in turn is a pain for me and extra work, at a point in time when I have little extra time nor patience for such things...

I am making this response to the whole list (sorry Dean) to raise awareness and hopefully remind members of this situation.

Thanks Dale

This is directed mainly to Mike Howard, whose recent posts I have read with interest regarding the Masi diaspora. Very topical for me, since I had started to poke around on the same topic and had already found other great material, particularly on Bob Hovey's site.

My specific question is regarding a later Simonetti that I picked up for a "daily driver" as I sell off some other more collectable bikes.

The frame is fillet brazed, dazzling red/yellow/black paint. It has the Simo head decal with the (former) Medici lion and the serial number is 59 S[or 8?]00120. Last number is hard to read as it is close to BB edge--it could also be an "8".

I'd love to know the tubing & approx production date...

Cheers,
Dean
