If it is an EDCO eccentric, both cups must be turned toward the rear of the frame to loosen (and the reverse to tighten, of course, with the indicator marks lined up).

I'm sitting on a large supply of EDCO eccentric BBs with 116 and 121 mm spindles. Very nice quality version of the Competition BB. The EDCO eccentric is an interesting BB solution, but one with very limited application it seems. If you really have a damaged BB shell, it might be just the thing. However, it requires 35mm clear space, so even if the threads are damaged, you may need to ream the BB shell, or at least take a file to it. It would be nice if the eccentric BB was sized a bit better (smaller) for use in various BB shells more easily, and without modification, which would make it more versatile I think. Nevertheless, for the right problem, it's probably one of the best, and one of very few, solutions.

Anyway, I'm offering to the CR list these EDCO eccentric BBs for $40 each shipped/cont-US. I accept PayPal at veloclassique@gmail.com, and will also accept checks to Velo Classique at the address below. Please specify spindle length, 116 or 121.

> Perhaps this is the eccentric locking version for use with stripped threads? If so, turn each side to the loose position and pull it out. Also, you may face stripped threads so perhaps leave the BB and use a Stronglight 49 for the crank if "good enough" will do.
