I was given a 58 cm Austro Daimler AD-10 frame with very beat up paint and a nice sized ding in the top tube. The rest of the tubes are fine. It is probably still rideable but it would make me think twice since I'm no lightweight. I know that tubes are replaceable on repair jobs but I really have no interest in going that route since it is too big for me anyway. I got to thinking about whether anyone ever do the reverse of a tube replacement and instead removes the serviceable tubes, strips them and reuses them?
