I took some photos of 2 bikes I recently had repainted by Carlos Martell.
The first bike is a Tom Kellogg Track frame built for Paul Deem in 1979 cereal # is 79.125.40.50 I received the frame with a mediocre yellow, non original paint job. The bikes original was bright silver with Panasonic decals, which, aesthetically didn't excite me so I let Carlos do as he pleased. What I got was a stunning, if a bit pimp, gold leaf and cream scheme seen in the photos. The parts while not ideal, either came with the frame or were purchased relatively inexpensive. I use the bike as a procrastination tool, and as that it works quite well.
The second bike, well frame , is a Keith Lippy, close to the original color, with original decals which Carlos acquired for the bike. the Lippy's cereal # is 083, I was told it is a 1972, which would make it the same age as me. Can't wait to get the Lippy built up all Im missing is some NR clamp on shifters. I have most everything else.
