Maybe someone recognizes the decal on the downtube, I can't make it out tho if I had to guess I'd say Specialized (didn't they have a thin-font, widely-spaced logo like that ages ago?). The bike definitely looks older (mid-late 70's?), at least by what appear to be the old stem-mounted plastic Simplex shift levers, double chainring, large flange front hub and metal freewheel spoke guard.
