There's a lot of hair in your post. On topic (Cinelli) and KOF (Brian Baylis) for sure, but worrisome nonetheless. I find it gets caught in the chain and wrapped around the axles. This assumes one actually turns the wheels & cranks, of course. I favor the cultivation of silk worms on the bike. After they form their cocoons around each surface, I carefully unwind the silk, the process of which polishes everything. An additional benefit of this technique is realized when I sell the silk to Gommitalia to make tubulars. Some bicycles are best left in cocoons, to be unwound by future generations of bike archeologists.
