I have several of these. Actually installed the first of them on a 1978 Mondia just after Christmas. Some say they have a very harsh ride, others like them. So far it seems to ride fine to me.

\r?\n> ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
\r?\n> I had one of these for a a couple of decades.
\r?\n> It sure is elegant, particularly with the bespoke
\r?\n> micro-adjust clamp.
\r?\n> but, I never got comfortable with it.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> I finally concluded that either it was designed for a very
\r?\n> different contact area, or was a triumph of engineering over
\r?\n> focus group consumer testing. I gave mine to a friend, and
\r?\n> it resides happily on his shelf instead of mine.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Honestly, now, is there anyone out there who joyfully uses
\r?\n> one of these on a bike that is ridden serious distance with
\r?\n> reasonable frequency?
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Or is it just me? A person of such poor morals that I ride
\r?\n> some old bikes with newer saddles and off-topic clipless
\r?\n> pedals. Until it is time for Cirque, when they revert to
\r?\n> vintage.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> But they sure are elegant. Oh, I said that.
