Subject: [CR] Cambio Corsa QR axle

Dear CR Friends: I bought a Cambio Corsa Mechanism from a list member, the only thing it lacked was the axle for the "quick release" skewer. We both assumed that any Campy QR skewer axle would suffice. but NOOOOOO....the part that accepts the cam is a tad larger.

Before I find a machinist to just make one, does anybody have other suggestions? Is there a brand of QR that is larger and might fit? Does anybody have a Cambio Corsa QR skewer axle just sitting around waiting for a home?

In other news, David Cheakas of Southwest Frameworks fame did an AWESOME job truing up the forks on my Chimati which is being restored to it's original Cambio Corsa format.

Thanks in advance! Dallas, TX, USA, Earth Clyde "how do you shift this thing again?" Putman
