hello all.
i'm new here so be gentle with me. my name is dan evans and live in france. i have recently started getting back into bikes after i started my collection with an early 1963 motoconfort bike that i bought from a local bike shop owner who raced himself but the bike was his brothers who raced also. i also bought the farthers old track bike frame which caught my eye. he said it was from the 30s. i then spoted a nice road bike in a second hand shop for 20euros and realised it was a great bike so rebuilt the bike and found better parts for the bits that didn't fit. since then i can't stop with plenty of exciting finds. including two vitus aluminium bike,( they may not count round here but are stunning bikes i think) also some nice legnano 1977/9 NOS frames. one is finished and the other in the process.
my first question to all is about another frame i have, its an ernesto frame made by colnago and has all the club stamps on the frame parts. its early 70s as there is an early dura ace decal on the seat tube. i can't find any other bikes like this on the net so i'm calling out for any info out there.
