I am going to go with the Stronglight A9 and a Campagnolo bottom bracket.
Apparently the Mavic bracket requires the shell to be chamfered so that the
lock rings bite. There being no threads with this sleeved type. I think a
seatpost is going to be out of my reach too so I will use a Ruggieri
'Cobra'. This has an allen key fastener on the side so is of a similar
aesthetic.
So the bike will be ''Presque Tout Mavic'' Now waiting for the paint to
dry where I have cut off and carefully blended to the braze, the single
Campagnolo lever boss.
