re chris kvale frames, gotta say that his frames are really friggin' sweet. i've never seen a mclean in person, but even though i'm in new haven, ct, i have seen 2 chris kvale's up close, and they are truly special, truly clean machines--paper thin filed lugs, straightforward designs and understated paint, even the pink one.

supposedly kvale has only made a couple of hundred frames in all these years, and may only build 4 or 5 a year at this point if what i read on the internets is true, and most of those frames are in the upper midwest, again according to the interweb tube device.

i really dug the ones i saw; i'm glad they went to the trouble of making it to where i am.
