The little red washers on Mafac Center-pulls are the first thing to go after the pads. Unfortunately, they are impossible to find.
So I tried making some out of the plastic used as dividers in notebooks. But the plastic is not the same and will neither wear well nor stand up to the weather. Mafac used red delrin sheet. Red Delrin is no longer available.
So I tried finding some nice copper washers. These are available in almost the exact same size as Mafac washers. 0.0591"OD x .317"ID x 0.020"Thickness They are available from several web sources, but at huge minimum order quantities.
Anybody know where a handfull can be purchased at a reasonable price?
