for sale today from Chez Charles et Carmen this very interesting early '80s racing frame, badged *4 RANDZOLLI.* I believe this was a racing team in SoCal in the early 1980s..this frame a contract job for the team.

Overall style of this frame and fork suggest it was built by the same shop that built the Nishiki ONP and upper-end Miyatas in the 80s, but I can't tell you any more than that.

What I can tell you is that this is a top-quality italian-style production road-racing frame, likely japanese-made. 23" c-t seat-tube, about 57cm c-c top-tube.

Frame and fork for $125 shipped in CONUS. This price includes the Super Record Seatpost it came with--it's an odd size, 26.8 I think, so I left it with the frame--Additional details listed with the pics:

Paint is easily a 9-out-of-10..from 5 feet away the frame looks virtually new. there are a few scrapes and scratches here and there, and wear in the usual spots, but considering its age, and the fact that it was clearly ridden regularly for awhile there, it looks really good. Note the skull/crossbones badges on the back of the seat-stays near the drop-outs, and on the front of the forkblades...clearly the original owner meant business ;>

Workmanship overall is definitely a long cut above the usual japanese production frame.

I really want this bad-boy outta here, so if you want it, let me know!

A: "In big ways, and little ways too, people do that all the time to themselves. We can't stand prosperity. We have to tinker with the machinery."
