Jon Kendezira spent a year filing/polishing the lugs for this one, learning to craft a fastback seatstay attachment, and kinda went wild with me on this one! It is a wonderful ride, but I need to put the $'s toward a (classic style) geared bicycle.
Which reminds me - from the NAHBS - for some reason (looking toward putting together a new (KOF style) bike - for some reason, the ones that were a brown - well really, a copper/clay colored - color appealed to me. Cielo (Chris King headsets, etc.) displayed one there, but are tig welded....so if y'all happened to notice other builders that had such a color - please let me know who they were! I didn't write them down or take pictures - and I became overwhelmed with everything at the show.
re the wonderful Dromari (sp) shoes - beautifully made, but NARROW, doggoneitall...even going up from 43 to 45 didn't compensate for the narrowness of the lasts....so, I didn't spend the $'s on them. Maybe a wider last will be made!
