the auction at Copake is mostly geared towards people interested in early bikes.. like prewar stuff.. i think since the bikes are so rare and hard to find, ephemera plays a large role in the marketplace... it is a small scale event and the swap ends up running along similar lines; ordinaries, early safety bikes, plus balloon tire and random bikes from local sellers and some vintage lightweights thrown in for good measure..
i've only been once but it's a nice area in upstate farm country, not far from the Bash Bish Falls.. certainly not a bad way to spend a spring morning...

interesting bicycles and lots of paper goods, and other, um stuff, such as
a man's straight razor with a tandem bike etched into the metal. I am sure
someone collects things like that... So, the question: is has anyone ever
attended this auction in Copake, NY?? Perhaps the adjacent swap meet has
on-topic bikes???
