Dick,

I think that paint job is outstanding! Very well done and unique, which is a good combination in my book. I love to see this kind of stuff. From my experience; almost anything that is done well ends up looking great. Kudos!

W.B. Hurlow custom built to spec this frame set for me in 1972. It was badged as an "S W Cotten", Sam Cotten being the importer. I rode and raced it til the late 80's then hung it up in my basement. When I decided to convert it to a single speed I decided that I wanted to do a rattle can, outside the box paint job. I ran this idea and samples past my arty designer friends and they loved it. The LBS guys initially looked at the finished product like the chimps looking at the monolith in " 2001 A Space Odyssey". Then they came around. http://www.flickr.com/photos/41665114@N04/
