Peter - There is indeed a brand called Massi. But I think it is a new brand launched by an older Spanish Company Casa Masferrer. See http://www.casamasferrer.com/marc_inici_eng.htm

Yours could be a Masi, but I have not seen the lugs with windows like that from Masi. Anyone might have used those lugs back in the 60s though.

I saw Nathan Cozzolinos Masi special at the cr list. Extremely nice bike!! The rame looks very much like the frame on mine carrier bike, mine is painted as a wedish monark, but it is definitely not a monark, the previous owner said it as a massi frame. I have searched info about that name but not found any. It is very nice frame to ride on, it is such joy to use it, fast and stable.

Mine has the same cut outs on the lugs, not so pointed lugs as on Nathans, but ine can have been filed down? Same kind of flat chain stays and same type of ork crown. Mine has six slots on the bottom bracket and is stamped F61, Nathans s stamped V61.

Can mine frame also be a Masi special? It would really be fun if it is.

I have put up some pictures on: http://goto.glocalnet.net/bluedot/
