As I understand the Black and Salmon are different compounds, being the salmon the better. I will try to cover the color with a permanent black marker, unless anyone on the list foresee any damage.

Got my hands on one of the first sets out of the new Mafac Replacement pads from Kool Stop. They come in , I chose the , less original looking but great stopping compound. Was shocked to see they are exact reproductions including "the 4 bumps". Was expecting something more generic shaped but sized for the mafac holders. Got mine from Wayne Bingham, they were a sample set but think they will be available in a week or two. Thanks Wayne! Snapped a pic for everyone to check out.
