Hi Don. Thanks so much for all your trouble, I'm seriously in your debt. Curiouser and curiouser. We know there were '71 Comps - i've got 2 frames in my basement. One came w/ Nervex lugs [like the '69] the other w/ Bocama like my lilac '72. Both came w/ Zeus Competicion cranks. Certainly this shows that there was more going on at Raleigh [and, one suspects, other manufacturers] than was reflected in the catalogs. As far as i know the white and yellow French equipped RRAs ['72-'73?] never appeared in any catalog. Perhaps listmembers could weigh in w/ other models they have knowledge of for which catalog documentation does not exist? Not just talking about Raleighs either.Cheers. Billy, In fact, neither bike appears in the catalog, but a gran sport does appear in one picture !!  The bike in the picture is the 1969 chrome bike with brown and green panels.  In fact, there is even a close-up in the upper right corner of that page, but the gransport is not even mentioned !!  See enclosure(s) for verification. - Don --- On Fri, 4/2/10, billydavid13@comcast.net <billydavid13@comcast.net> wrote: From: billydavid13@comcast.net <billydavid13@comcast.net> Subject: Re: [CR] Need help finding Raleigh catalogs online, esp. 1971. If so, how were they spec'd [power train mainly] and what colors. Please don't go to any trouble, it's not urgent. Cheers.
