Bon matin, mes amis!

This year the "Friends of the Paris-Roubaix" organization presented a 50th anniversary tribute to 1960 race winner Pino Cerami. Featured on that organization's website are 71 photos documenting their ceremony. Included are several decent photos of both the racer and his blue and gold PX-10 race bike, both as seen today.

Also, for what it's worth, apparently also shown at the hommage was old archived film footage of that race. Unfortunately, several images captured as still photos from the screening of the old film did not transfer well to the web page.

The bike pictured is the traditional blue with yellow head lugs as found on 1950s bikes. But, it now carried the red + gold shield headbadge common to the 1960s. This also pre-dated the more familiar checkerboard pattern decals of the later 1960s race bikes.

A very nice looking bike... right around my size, too.
