Hi Gang,

Frame repair question, I have a classic frame mid 1950's with the open C dropouts. Original paint and chrome. I have found a hairline crack on the rear deraileur dropout from the top of the triangle of the dropout to where the seat stay meets the dropout. The crack does not extend into the seat stay but may continue inside the stay on the dropout. It is tight where it is brazed to the seat stay. Opinions on a silver solder repair to protect the chrome or is it a lovely wall hanger.
