Anybody with a few cases of those Gant Racers could set their own price. I find a thin glove like the Racer avoids bunching, spreads the load, and is ultimately more comfortable than more padded gloves. They are a poor substitute but Tufo gloves, although Lycra backed, have the right idea (to my taste) about padding and the tailoring around the thumb. Nothing like the Racer gloves though.

... someone should mention the gant racer ... made in france. tan leather ... this one has a green upper mesh ... great color coordinator with an atlantis ... and a metal snap fit (we don't need no stinkin' velcro). still mint ... came from ebay ages ago.
