In case no one is aware, TAKARAs were made by Kuwahara, and often, even the Hi-Ten frames had nice forged dropouts.

These might be a CHEAP town rider for someone. They are for local pick up only. the first 4 are in Indianapolis, IN and the last one the (ROSS) is in Santa Ana, CA. If there are any listers interested in the ROSS, I could help with pick up and packing/shipping. I've never shipped a bike, so some patience would be required. ;-}
