My son Paul has my Legnano Ser#1600R that I THOUGHT I had purchased NEW in Mid70s from the Big Wheel bike shop on Holly St Denver Co. Now I look at the photos of the Legnano that CR list member has for sale, that was purchased in MID 70s from a shop in Boulder,Co This frame has the seat binder bolt BEHIND the seat tube in normal fashion. MY Legnano has the seat binder bolt IN FRONT of the seat tube? SO anyone have any idea when Legnano switch from in front of the tube to rear for the binder bolt? Maybe my Legnano was an earlier frame? Does the serial# 1600R mean anything? any input PLEASE. Cheers John Crump OldconfusedBrit. Parker,Co USA
