I couldn't resist another Competition GS...this time a 1980 in black. During cleanup, I noticed a cracked front GS hub shell and a broken cable-guide that is part of the GS downtube shifter assembly. I can easily "upgrade" to Record but prefer to stay with original GS if available. Anyone have said orphan GS parts they care to part with? I suspect that Record are considerably easier to come by...
