Subject: Re: [CR] Skid Lid anyone?

Decades ago some bike mag had a helmet testing outfit test bike helmets. They put an instrumented "Head" in them and dropped them from 2 different heights, IIRC 3 and 6 feet. The readings from the 3 foot drop of the Skid Lid were so high that the testers refused to test it at the higher height. Said it would likely damage their equipment.
