A funny thing happened yesterday: After scouring the internet for hours I found next to nothing about Atom hubs, freewheels or pedals.
How could it be that there is practically no interest in one of the most prolific and productive companies in the industry?
Atom made good, reliable and cheap parts. Not as good as the high end stuff, but for half or a third of the price.
What I was actually looking for was their logo. Some atom hubs and freewheels had a very nice script logo. Aside from a few parts photos, I could not find the script anywhere. Does anyone have an old box, advert or drawing with that logo?
Same for the Schwinn Paramount script found on their Pre-War components (
