I put to gether this album on wool jersey a while back. I have somehow managed to accumulate a number of 70's chromed Paramounts, so I have a pretty good time line.

Note that the 1970 and 1971 have red lug lining, the 1972 has black lug lning, and the 1973 has no lug lining. So this fits well with the idea that lug lining ended at the end of 1972.

To follow up on Bernie's comment below, my 1972 Chrome Paramount P-15 with red pin striping is SN K72335. I believe the K makes it an October 1972 frame. So, maybe the working hypothesis is the that pin stripe lady retired at the end of 1972 and had a great Christmas that year. Any more SN/pin striping data points out there? CR does not get any more exciting than this!
