David,

At the risk of coming off as a tad snarky, I offer the following advice for you and anyone else who may not have been in a position to monitor the CR List diligently or for a protracted period of time:

"the CR List archives are your friend"

And this is precisely why I personally make at least a modicum of effort to ensure that as many of my posts to that List as possible are as informative as I might, because even if someone does not need the information contained therein at that very moment, they or someone else may well in the future - and the CR List archives live on for posterity and that knowledge base is entirely searchable by keyword(s). So, for your immediate reading pleasure, I offer the following examples:

http://search.bikelist.org/getmsg.asp?Filename=classicrendezvous.10904.0984.eml

...and...

http://search.bikelist.org/getmsg.asp?Filename=classicrendezvous.10904.0999.eml

Please note, however, that those are but my own contributions to the greater base of knowledge on the topic of SunTour - there is a whole lot more information than that buried in the (...searchable) archives. Then, if one is unable to find the very specific information they seek, they are always encouraged to post any remaining query they might have to the CR List for the consideration and benefit of others. And by the way, there are even posts in the CR List archive regarding how to properly search said archive:

http://search.bikelist.org/getmsg.asp?Filename=classicrendezvous.11001.0047.eml

...merely a well intentioned suggestion from someone who perhaps woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
