Eeek - that forkcrown...

The hubs may be the price of admission alone, but the frame looks low grade and there are no exciting Maury bits such as stem. Certainly not a top level example.

But the hubs with the blue covers... those are nice

Here's a very rare opportunity to by yourself a very rare 1950 MAURY Randonneur.

It's a 54 with a 56.5 top-tube..it has all the goodies, including Maxicar hubs, Le Chat brazed on front mech..and looks to be in very original condition..with patina.

The asking price with about fifteen hours to go is 1500 euros. The big snag is that the bike is in Le Mans..NW of Paris in the middle of nowhere in particular..and the seller insists that it must be collected, although he will deliver within the area including Paris which is where our man lives !

There is one Frenchman I know of who might be cajoled into picking the bike up for a small fee. I shall be back in France very shortly..but I don't think my wife would welcome the detour to Le Mans.
