Every MA40 and GP4 rim I have owned showed the same wear pattern after a few seasons of hard use. never thought anything of it. still have a few, and they still work - must be a Mavic thing.

Can anyone ID the maker of this bike? Should I jump on it?

Also note the interesting wear pattern on the rear rim. It seems to be related to the spokes. Could the rim be ever-so-slightly wavy from too much spoke tension?
