Subject: [CR] Constrictor toe clips

Peter,

The description of your Constrictor toe clips (ebay #390205850806) mentions that their design was "notable for having the cross piece across the front which prevented marking to the user's shoes which occurred with many other clips."

http://ebay.com/<blah>

I do not yet understand how the cross-piece would prevent the marking of leather shoes by itself. Would not the clips have to have leather or other coverings to prevent scratching a nice leather shoe?

Thanks very much,

I have listed just a few more choice items on Ebay, including nice Campagnolo Nouvo Record and Nouvo Gran Sport rear mechs, a concours condition Gran Sport front mech, a pair of NOS Brampton B8 pedals, a very rare pair of Constrictor toe clips, and a small batch of reproduction early Holdsworth head badges. This latter item is item number 390204581083 and you can then use See other items to view the rest, or use my Ebay handle of petmarbro.
