Lou,

I'm still here in the hotel, it's Sunday night and everyone (except me) has finally turned in for the last time. I have to say that, as ALWAYS, I have had a wonderful time here this year. Since I missed last year, therefore I am especially thankful that I made the effort to come and be here with everyone. As I sit here now I have this great and satisfying feeling that the future of custom framebuilding is looking very bright and that the continuation of the high level of craftsmanship and integrity is certain to continue here in the United States.

I can hardly express in words how impressed I am with the young framebuilders here on the East Coast and from the Midwest. What a friendly and intelligent bunch of guys! I should also mention VERY talented, energetic, and creative. Great sense of humor and witty as well. I was truly choked up as I felt the love these guys have for one another and the craft itself. Honestly, I wasn't expecting that out of this trip.

I made good use of my time here and the many contacts for all sorts of things that are important to me and also the success of the forthcoming International Bicycle Framebuilders Expo in San Diego in 2011. I also spent some quality time with many of the older and established framebuilders and other related people who attend the Cirque. This has been one of the most satisfying Cirque events I have attended thus far; and this was my tenth Trip here. I even found the solution to the air sickness I normally experience when I fly to the East Coast. I felt great all weekend!

That's all for now. But make no mistake, I feel like the brotherhood of framebuilders will survive and the future is in good and capable hands. The "old guys" are keeping up their chops too. No one is slacking. I feel energized and positive about life in general as I turn in for the night. A special thanks to Wayne and MJ for busting their humps to make all of this happen; but there are also a LARGE number of special people who work together to make the magic happen. When I have more time I will start naming names; but for now, thanks to everyone for coming and making my experience one of the best times I've ever had!

Good night, everyone.
