The gladiators made their way from across the five boroughs and congregated at the southeast tip of Central Park. They spat pleasantries at one another, warily eyed the assembled classic rides, and at a moment they were off. The pace started hard and accelerated from their. Each man dug deep to inflict suffering on the group. The ride veered off the paved roads and the swirling hoard did battle on dirt trails. Piermont was a break in the hostilities and beverages and stories were swapped and a general relaxing and recovery was enjoyed. Once that moment had passed, the vintage pack turned back to battle their way back to the city.

It was a lot of fun and I was very happy to meet the crew. I look forward to doing it again!
