Any and all CR listers welcome!
Madison classic ride date and agenda is now set. Saturday, July 24 is the date. I will provide coffee, bagels and fruit salad at my house, starting about 9 am. 10 am or so will be start time for ride(s). Riders will discuss the possibilities and decide on one or more rides. Meet for lunch and refreshments at Tony Frank's Bar n Grill starting at noon or so (again depending on ride choices). Reconvene at my house after lunch.
Ride choices include in-town bike paths and University of Wisconsin Arboretum/or scenic rural roads. The options are virtually limitless. That's what I love about Madison.
There is some space to show bikes and secure storage during the ride if you want to bring more than one bike.
For out-of-towners who want to stay overnight before or after, the Super 8 at 1602 West Beltline Highway is close to the start, with bike lane most of the way. Phone is 608-258-8882.
