I would like to dip an oar in here.

Everything about it is right IMHO. Analysis MIGHT point out the rear derailleur frustrated users and mechanics alike, Nervar is a poor sister to TA and some folks had troubles with the wheels being not quite up to loaded touring.

BUT it is my favorite Schwinn color and hand brazed by a real person. DOES ANY ONE NEED ANY MORE REASON TO PONY UP?

We are a group of people who pines for just this sort of stuff. It's just that some of you might pine for others like MASI Peugeot or Confente. Always wanted to put those three with equal given value in a sentence.

IF we were really interested only the stuff that worked effortlessly we would never use anything that needs clicked. Except for maybe my mouse because that's how I get to read CR. Oh and cameras so I can see other peoples treasures.

I have owned two previously, both lime green and too big. This one is the right size and the right color. Sigh!

My hope is that it finds a home of appreciation . . . the same amount of money will buy you a modern entry level shop bike or a NOS Campagnolo Pista Crank. HMMM
