Hilary,

Thank you for clearing all that up. The Frame couldn't be a Novus Ductor though as described to me. It's either a Scrorpian or Magnum Bonum, but the bottom bracket lug is very different from either Magum Bonums or Or a Scorpian. Eitrher way it's a gorgious frame, but I'm trying to get more on its history. I did get an email from Kevin Sayles in the UK who feels the frame was made by Danny Foster.

Thank you again, Peter ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Campag Victory group was available from late 1984 - the incorrect date is often suggested but that is because some of the 18bis catalogues are dated December 1986 rather than 1985...

>> Does anyone on the list know what years Campagnolo made thier Victory Leisure group was produced. I found the copy of the Bicycling Magazine article that was written for the early Novus Ductor that I have which I was told was an early prototype, possibly shown at the show in New York, but when I purchased it I was was told it came with a triple Record group. Unfortunately the article from Bicycling Magazine is a bad photo copy with no dates on the pages. I need help dating the frame. The trouble is after 1968 it's more difficult to date Hetchins frames. If I know the group years of production, it would help me date the frame within a certain era and it's restoration. The frame serial number is 86003 which probably means it's a Bob Jackson built Hetchins from 1986 ??
